Blair L Smith
This first post is dedicated to Blair, whose life and eventual passing has inspired the creation of this organization, its website and it's sister website that helps people to help one another in avoiding preventable loss of life or function. Blair was and still is an amazing force and she will always be remembered and eternally loved for the love, kindness and acceptance that she showed to others. Blair is one of the three miracles of my life. She has inspired me to get up and go beyond what I could have ever accomplished on my own. My sweet baby smiles down on me at every turn and I am so very glad to have had her in my life. She was my twin in so many ways and she was never afraid to te6me what was on her mind even though many times she kept some things to herself. Despite missing her every day I know that I was more than blessed to have given birth to such an amazing woman. She put up with so much pain and discomfort throughout her life due to her disease and in spite of all of that she managed to show love and concern for many others. Even when she was going through the worst part of her illness she took the time to watch out for her beautiful baby sister, who needed extra care of her own. Blair would even try to keep an eye on her brother who spent his time traveling. I miss her every day in every way.
Rest eternally in peace.
